Oh no, I get it.

I just don't think any of these people understand salutes or that there are actually specific traditions involved. Fuck me, maybe I'm just a neurotic vet.

I hate the fake ass salutes in movies for instance.

It's like the fucking ribbons. Remember the breast cancer, autism, veterans, aids, lgbtbbq ribbons to commemorate different causes?

Yeah you don't because they were overused and become unnoticeable.

I like thinking that saluting means something and there are specific regulations.

Show all the honor and respect to Q team you desire.

Maybe showing respect might mean learning different protocols/military traditions?

Oh, also, is Q team military?

Do you salute non military?

Do you salute warrant officers?

Do you salute if you are NOT military?

Military regs said I'd salute middle finger to the brim of my patrol cap when I wore one, then to the frame of my glasses or eyebrow when I wore a flight cap.

Drill sergeants salute to the brim of their massive hats, it's pretty funny.

What threw me off is this little thing o7

Lookslike someone saluting to the brim of their FEZ

I can't unsee the FEZ salute
