What do you really Know about Q or what Q believes? Not much. In the first mission impossible movie they use the book of Job. Did that mean the characters believed in the Bible or God? No. Riddles, codes. Maybe Q does believe in God.

But maybe Q knows that (you) believe in God.

Maybe Q uses that knowledge to rally you against an evil cabal. Still doesnt mean Q believes. Maybe Q believes this evil cabal must be destroyed by any means necessary. Very difficult to Know what someone else believes- especially a nameless faceless source on a message board.
