Eagle-eyed readers might remember Leviev’s name from a minor and somewhat scattershot Politico story from a few months back, a story that documented both Donald Trump’s and Jared Kushner’s personal links to various Russian Jewish figures through the Chabad-Lubavitch movement. In 1999, Putin’s friends Lev Leviev and mega-oligarch Roman Abramovich founded the Federation of Jewish Communities of Russia as a counterweight to a rival Russian Jewish organization led by oligarch Vladimir Gusinsky, a man increasingly on the outs with the new regime. Chabad rabbi Berel Lazar was elected the new organization’s head; Leviev, who had already been involved in Chabad’s charitable activities and programs across the world, was likely championing his cause. And it was through Chabad’s networks that the two eventually met the Trumps.

Leviev may have first encountered The Donald through their mutual friend Tamir Sapir, a Georgian emigré (with possible KGB connections) who built a billion-dollar fortune in the 1980s by investing the earnings from a barter trade in oil and fertilizer with the Soviet Union into Manhattan real estate. Leviev and Trump appear to have first had an official meeting in May 2008 in New York, where they reportedly discussed working on a possible project together in Moscow. Meanwhile, Abramovich, and especially his wife Dasha Zhukova, appear to have become very close to Jared Kushner and his wife Ivanka through the years. How Kushner met Leviev is less clear, but he did end up buying several floors of the old New York Times building from him in 2015 for $295 million. The deal, and a subsequent refinancing loan worth $285 million received from Deutsche Bank against the property, are said to be of interest to the Mueller investigation.

In 1987, Goldstone founded Oui 2 Entertainment, a publicity, marketing, and event-planning company.[5] Clients of the company have included the New York Friars Club, the Madison Square Boys and Girls Club, Steinway & Sons, the Russian Tea Room, and Azerbaijani pop star Emin Agalarov. Oui 2 assisted the Trump Organization in bringing the 2013 Miss Universe Pageant to Moscow with Agaralov's father, billionaire Aras Agalarov, as host.[4][5][6][7]

On 7 June 2016, on behalf of Emin Agalarov, Goldstone e-mailed Donald Trump's son Donald Trump, Jr., to request a meeting between the younger Trump and Russian lawyer Natalia Veselnitskaya (referred to in Goldstone's e-mail as a "Russian government attorney").[8][9] According to Goldstone's email, Agalarov wanted to "provide the Trump campaign with some official documents and information" that would help Donald Trump's campaign and damage the campaign of his rival, Hillary Clinton.[8] Donald Trump, Jr., replied immediately: "If it's what you say[,] I love it[,] especially later in the summer."[10]

At the request of Donald Trump, Jr., Goldstone attended the meeting, held on 9 June 2016 at Trump Tower. The gathering included the younger Trump; Donald Trump's son-in-law, Jared Kushner; Trump's campaign manager, Paul Manafort; Aras Agaralov's employee Ike Kaveladze; Russian lawyer Natalia Veselnitskaya; former Russian counterintelligence officer Rinat Akhmetshin; and a translator.[11][12]

Chabad inside the White House: A clear and present national security danger

Multiple reports from inside the Trump White House and the FBI that point to a major on-going counter-intelligence investigation of the financial dealings and foreign intelligence contacts of Trump’s “Secretary for Everything,” son-in-law Jared Kushner, and Trump’s daughter and Kushner’s wife, Ivanka Trump, are also raising their close connections to Chabad organizations.

Kushner and Ms. Trump are observant Orthodox Jews but they have donated to Chabad House, run by the Hasidic Lubavitch movement, in Port Washington and Southampton, New York; Washington, DC; and Boca Raton, Florida. The Donald J. Trump Foundation has donated to Chabad in Boca Raton, Southampton, and the Lubavitch Youth Organization in Brooklyn. Tevfik Arif, who claims he is not Jewish, donates to the Chabad House in Port Washington.

Arif is a principal in Bayrock Group, along with Trump associate Felix Sater. Bayrock had its headquarters in the Trump Tower in New York and was a partner of Trump in the Trump Soho residential building in Manhattan and other real estate ventures in Fort Lauderdale, Florida; Turkey; Poland; Ukraine; Russia; Arizona; Colorado; and New York. In 2010, Arif was arrested in Turkey and charged with running a prostitution ring using sex-trafficked women from Russia and Ukraine. Arif also has business ties to the billionaire oligarch “Kazakhstan Trio” of Alexander Mashkevitch, Patokh Chodiev, and Alijan Ibragimov. The trio is also known as “K3.” The trio donates to a number of Chabad and Zionist causes, including the Euro-Asian Jewish Congress, the World Jewish Congress, and the Bukharan Jewish Congress.

The nexus between “Javanka”—as Kushner and Ivanka are known inside the White House by their major detractors—and some of Donald Trump’s crime syndicate business partners in the worldwide network of Chabad houses, considered by many intelligence agencies to serve as Israeli Mossad “safe houses” and nests for the Russian-Jewish Solntsevskaya Mafia, has raised concerns within the FBI and Central Intelligence Agency.

Kushner, who is President Trump’s adviser on Middle East issues, is believed to have influenced his father-in-law on two major issues that have long been the goals of Orthodox Jews and the Chabadniks: U.S. recognition of Jerusalem as Israel’s capital and the transfer of the U.S. embassy in Israel from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem. While both actions have been taken, Kushner is also believed to have acted as a virtual agent for Chabad in pressing Trump to recognize certain illegal Jewish settler towns and areas in the West Bank and east Jerusalem suburbs—what Israeli refers to as “Judea and Samaria”—as “sovereign” Israeli territory. Chabad influence peddlers may have also succeeded in convincing Kushner to pressure Trump to freeze U.S. financial assistance to the Palestinians.

Several Trump business associates are major financiers of Chabad. They include Trump’s partner Leviev Boymelgreen in the ill-fated Trump Elite Building project. The Elite Building in Ranat Gan, Israelm was slated to become Israel’s tallest building. Boymelgreen, an Israeli national, arrived in New York in 1969 and started an asbestos abatement business and he quickly became a billionaire real estate developer in New York, Miami, and Las Vegas.

Boymelgreen was a partner of Israeli billionaire Lev Leviev, who mostly made his fortune in Africa “conflict” or “blood” diamonds and partnered in the purchase by Kushner of the 229 W. 43rd Street Times Square building via a deal with Leviev’s Africa-Israel USA. The Times Square building’s investors also includes the Hong Kong-based firm, 88 Queensway Group, which has been linked by the U.S.-China Economic & Security Review Commission to the Chinese Ministry of State Security in Beijing and construction projects in North Korea. 88 Queensway Group owns the JP Morgan Chase building in Manhattan.
