Votes of 2020 will be the real test.
I hope demographic vote patterns change, because if they don't, it will be ultimate proof that Civic Nationalism is a big ass fraud, and that will probably result in one of these:
1)
Massive censorship and harassment in order to keep the status quo going until the whole Western Countries collapse and balkanize under DIEversity (forced "unity" always implodes on its own); or
2)
In order to implement peaceful and fair solutions to the issue, many people will be faced with some painful truths, and they will be mad and that will result in some instability (but still yet better than number 1).
If Civ Nat works, its a good thing, bring back freedom of association for those that want to self-segregate to be able to do so and have their little niches carved out in the US and the US will not balkanize because people will in what regards federal politics, people will be united under common sense and not gibs and id politics.
