I was a documentary researcher in the UK in the 90s. Spent months in the Bank of England uncovering how Montagu Norman/Dr Schacht/Roths/BIS/The Fed colluded to re-arm Germany (Obvs have alot more context now).
No networks (Beeb, C4, ITV) would pick it up/production companies were scared.
