The president does not have line-item veto power.

What Trump did was make a signing statement.

Presidents can whine about the law they just enacted and discuss how they disagree with it in those statements.

Signing statements do not absolve the president from enacting and enforcing the law.

As I stated to another anon, it is true that other presidents such as Obama used signing statements to circumvent law, but this act was not legal nor was it proper.

Had anyone called Obama out on it, Obama would have been forced by law to follow the law.

Trump screwed the pooch by signing the bill into law. What he should have done was VETO the bill and send it back to the house.

If Trump tries the same shit that Obama got away with, Trump will learn the hard way that signing statements do not absolve him from enforcing the law.

I really don't think Trump is that stupid, but time will tell.

Adding to the list, california propositions did a lot to allow the plebs to vote away their money and right.

Jew banking was allowed in in the 1980's which really added to the corruption.

Then there is the open border issue.

The list is almost endless.
