Korea and Japan have a bit of a bitter feud that has been buried, but really needs to be hashed out.
If you go to Korea, you can still see how the trees in the forested areas are planted in rows. The cherry trees are planted in rings around the mountain (Ozark-like mountains… Felt like I was in Asian Ozarks over there) tops. The Japanese cut down every tree on the peninsula before they left - or so many that it is commonly reported as every tree.
Korea holds a special place in my heart. I'd Roger up and go through hell for those guys. Granted, currently on stand-by for things, here.
