Ancient Faith Anon

Looking in to some recent research on the tradition mentioned by Epiphanius of Salamis, in Book I of his Panarion, which describes the Nazoreans, the most ancient sect of Jews believing on Yeshua as the Meshiach.

They resided in Beroea (Berea), which you hear about in the New Testament.

TIL: Berea is the ancient name for Aleppo.

And there were populations of Nazarenes here, as well as in Pella (TransJordania), where the Christians from Jerusalem had fled…

This was an Ancient Faith moment.
