• Supported the $7billion, 7 year, Southern Company's Kemper power plant (Carbon Capture Project - gasification process ) → [Failure] = It reverted to natural gas. Project went [Massively] over budget and way behind schedule. Where'd all the money go?

• Meanwhile - Moniz pulled continued Fed funding for the successful Texas NRG Petra Nova (Carbon Capture Project - post-combustion process) in early 2016. $1billion cost, 3 years to build.

NRG in Texas moved ahead with Petra Nova which will take the captured carbon from the Houston power plant and pipe it to West Texas where it will be pumped down older oil wells to recover residual oil previously not economically recoverable.

(Began operation - Jan 2017)

→ So he supported a mysteriously over-budget energy project while starving a productive economical one.

• Treacherous Sabotage.
