IMO her rib fractures were due to mets. They are either mets from "incidental finding" of new lung cancer primary or mets from an old cancer diagnosis. either way lung cancer loves to metastasize to the brain. a good rad/onc will treat whole brain prophylactically. which would tap her out at this age.
IMO - with sections of her lung now missing she'd benefit from portable O2 & likely be in a wheelchair. not jaunting around an airport looking like a video from a couple years ago.
