Company that owns a large part of the Corinthia Hotel (with Board Members) is the Libya Foreign Investment Company.

 

This is an agency of the government and I believe is related to their sovereign wealth fund.

So in short, this fancy hotel, where celebrities from all over the world hang out, including politicians, musicians, movie stars, etc., is owned largely by a Libyan government fund that has ties to human trafficking and terrorism.
