I’m starting to wonder if we’re really going to see executions of the traitors once convicted.
I can imagine a scenario where POTUS commutes the sentences of many if not all of them. For the purpose of social and financial stability at home and around the world.
Not a pardon…They’d serve life sentences, maybe at GITMO. And their crimes would still be as judged i.e. treason.
Could be a better play for the path forward. Help to heal the nation. And prevent civil war etc.
