Slavery was not a condition of race.
I'm white. My ancestors were slaves, does that mean white ppl get reparations or is this only going to people who had ancestors that were black? What about the black people that came here that had no ancestors that were slaves? How does Sheila Jackson Lee propose to prevent fraud in reparations while maintaining a non-discriminatory payout of reparations?
