What if all these Q posts recently with variations of:

"On the move"

Is actually not Q who is on the move. But a message relayed from those in the field that subjects are on the move.

Game Theory-

(at least as it relates to poker)

Optimal strategy- is a strategy where you cannot be exploited. You often use optimal strategy if you are unaware of your opponent or do not have control of specific variables.

Exploitative Strategy- The strategy you implement once you have control over specific variables or you have learned your opponent to where you can expect moves and countermoves that your opponent will make.

Real world example:

I am holding my hand behind my back, you and another have to guess what number I am holding. Whoever is closest wins. You have to go first.

Because you have to go first, the OPTIMAL play is to choose "3". Because there is nothing your opponent can do to not allow you to have the majority of numbers 1-5 to win. For instance, you say "3". You opponent can choose:

2, in which case you win with 3-5.

4, in which case you win with 1-3.

1, in which case you tie on a 2, win 3-5.

5, in which case you tie on a 4, win 1-3.

NOW, you are playing for the 100th time and you realize that your opponent ALWAYS chooses 5 because it is his favorite number. Then you can EXPLOIT that by choosing "4". Thus, you win when the number is 1-4 which is at least 20 percent better than the previous scenario.

It is all about starting out with an optimal strategy and adjusting as more information is provided. This is why intelligence agencies are so crucial.

Trying to give the basics without going too far down the poker route. Just putting it in layman terms so that anons can think about moves/countermoves in how Q may operate.

I was doing it in a straight win/loss scenario. Obviously, payouts change alot.

You may use smaller payout scenarios that you don't care too much to lose to gain insight on your opponent to then strike when the payout is larger.

All that was needed for the 101 course was as what was provided.
