My heart goes out to you! I lost my dog about 15-20 years ago to Cancer on his spine. Doubtful he would have survived surgery with where it was located. One of the hardest things I have ever had to do, having such a loyal companion put to sleep! I regret to this day that I didn't stay with him for his final time on Earth, but I was too destroyed about everything. I haven't been able to have another pet since for several reasons, but someday, I will get another dog! Prayers!
