Thanks to all the publicity from the egregious, hateful MAGA attack and attempted lynching of my good friend Jussie Smollett, I was able to get my Bill through the Senate in record time. 02/14/2019, S.488 was introduced in the Senate, read twice, considered, read the third time, and Passed without amendment by Voice Vote. All that in one day; Impressive! It was then immediately sent to the House. But, alas, it remains there, now in limbo. Why? Because it was discovered that the so-called "attack and attempted lynching" of Jussie Smollett was nothing more than a Hoax. Completely staged by Jussie Smollett himself, for what are still unknown reasons. Hopefully no one will think I had anything to do with my friend Mr. Smollett's staged attack. This is obviously just one big coincidence.
