So…the OIG report is to keep Mueller honest. Mueller has to play his cards first because the OIG can go over his head. If the OIG goes first, Mueller can put anything he wants into the report and fabricate whatever they need to prosecute POTUS.

They've probably been in a stalemate for months now, with RR acting as a go-between to delay delay delay. Mueller and Co hoped they'd swing enough votes in the midterms to finally end it, but we made it out with the Senate.

Now now we waited for the other guy to blink, so to say. With the new AG, he's forcing Mueller to lay it out, and then the OIG can mop up anything that's left. If Mueller lies, the OIG can drop the hammer. As a result, democrats are forced to go public with a neutered report, and the truth can be exposed.
