Of interest to Houston anons who have been fighting corruption for many years. Jeffrey Skilling, former CEO of Enron, may (or may not) be released from custody tomorrow.

I have to admit, I felt sure that Ken Lay was oblivious to what was going on around him. He didn’t have the evil and arrogant vibe of Skilling, Andy Fastow, and others at the highest levels of Enron. Lay always seemed a little too trusting. He seemed genuine and “good”. But of course, he may have just been good at deception and currently living on a private island somewhere.

I worked in a major energy lending company they used. When I realized what they were doing, I brought it to the attention to my company. They didn’t call me a whistleblower; they called me fired and blacklisted. I hoped Skilling and Fastow would be incarcerated for life.
