Generally, voting is regulated by the states. Even with some moves, law and regulatory change can be slow (especially if opposed). Removal of 1.5M fraudulent voters in CA is good, but still doesn't make enough difference in that state IMO.

kek, depends on time of arrest and circumstances. Investigations such as this can result in a summons/warrant demanding an appearance to discuss bail, conditions, etc. It is not uncommon if defense attorneys are involved his early, to arrange appearances. Recall, they gave OJ the oppty to turn himself in and that was far more serious.
