The security threat posed by more than 2,000 Islamist terror suspects is just one example of how Angela Merkel’s “mistake” to throw open the borders continues to haunt Germany daily, the country’s former spy chief has said.

Hans-Georg Maassen, who was forced to retire as Federal Office for the Protection of the Constitution (BfV) chief last year after voicing skepticism over antifa-promoted footage used to claim Germans had carried out a ‘pogrom’ against migrants, said domestic security has been compromised since the Chancellor moved to welcome well over a million migrants in 2015.

Having been a co-author of German residence laws emphasising the state’s role and duty to ensure the “control and limitation of immigration”, Maassen “felt chills” when he saw that “thousands of [third world migrants] were allowed to enter just like that”, he told the tabloid newspaper Bild.

“The security situation has been aggravated by the so-called migration crisis,” asserted the former lawyer and intelligence chief, appearing at a conservative conference in Cologne, where he was given the reception of a “rock star” by right-wing supporters of Merkel’s Christian Democratic Union (CDU), according to Bild….

There are now “around 2,200 potential terrorists who could carry out [Islamist] attacks at any time”, the former BfV head said, adding that the number of Islamic extremists living in Germany has risen from 3,800 in 2012 to 11,500 today.

“Not only do the [migration policy] mistakes of 2015 continue to affect [the country] but they are repeated daily,” lamented Maasen, before asserting the belief it is extremely unlikely Germany would be able to successfully integrate the massive number of people who have taken up residence in the nation over the last few years.

It’s no surprise that this is where Tlaib’s sympathies lie. The worst aspect of this is that Tlaib will suffer no consequences whatsoever for associating with Hamas-linked CAIR or her fellow anti-Semite Omar Suleiman, who is the imam responsible for compelling Google to bury all content critical of Islam. For the Left and the Democrats today, Jew-hatred is mainstream, and Hamas is an ally.

Rep. Rashida Tlaib, D-Mich., a self-proclaimed liberal progressive, will speak alongside an extremist imam at an event hosted by the Michigan chapter of the terror-tied Council on American Islamic Relations (CAIR) next month. The Hamas-connected outfit is infamously known for being labeled an unindicted co-conspirator in the largest terrorism financing case in U.S. history.

On March 17, Rep. Tlaib will join Omar Suleiman, a Muslim Brotherhood-linked imam who has a long history of anti-LGBT, anti-woman, and anti-Semitic remarks, at the fundraising event in Detroit. Tickets will cost $50 per person, or $500 to reserve a table.

Imam Suleiman has referred to homosexuality as a “disease” and a “repugnant shameless sin” that he believes is justifiable to punish by death. Additionally, the radical imam has endorsed mandatory hijabs for all women, even when they are around family members. In a 2012 sermon, he warned that women who do not wear a full hijab risk an incestous relationship with their family members. In that address, he added that women who commit adultery run the risk of being honor-killed by their family members, without condemning the practice of honor killing. On the foreign policy front, Suleiman regularly cheers on Hamas-led violent Islamist uprisings against Israel in calling for the elimination of the Jewish state.

Dawud Walid, the longtime CAIR-Michigan director who is presiding over the event, also has a long history of extremist rhetoric. At a 2012 sermon at a mosque in Michigan, he described Jews as enemies of Islam who have “incurred the wrath of Allah.” Moreover, Walid has endorsed blasphemy laws that call for violent repercussions for engaging in criticism of Islam or Muhammad….

Tlaib has become a regular on the CAIR circuit. In February, she headlined a CAIR-Chicago fundraiser. In January, she spoke at a CAIR event in which she was introduced by an avowed supporter of the U.S.-designated terrorist organization Hamas….

Mark Levin: ‘Nothing Like This Has Ever Happened Before in the United States of America – Ever’

On his nationally syndicated radio talk show “The Mark Levin Show” Tuesday, host Mark Levin reminded his audience about his analysis from two years ago concerning a “silent coup” against President Trump, Levin suggesting last evening that “nothing like this has ever happened before in the United States of America – Ever.”

“[W]hat Mr. Comey and what Mr. McCabe and the others were doing, was undermining the United States of America from within the government, from within the FBI, from within the Department of Justice,” stated Mark Levin. “Nothing like this has ever happened before in the United States of America – ever, ever.”

Mark Levin’s remarks came after a the case he laid out concerning a “silent coup” against President Donald Trump nearly two years ago, during his radio program, again on “Fox & Friends,” and again on Sean Hannity’s Fox News show, was repeated by conservative talk show host Rush Limbaugh on Fox News Sunday and repeated in other news outlets to describe what Limbaugh called the “deep state” in action against President Donald Trump. “Rush Limbaugh says what happened inside the FBI and the Justice Department after Donald Trump won the presidency was a ‘silent coup’ by unelected people from the ‘Obama intelligence agencies,’” reported CNSNews.com. Mark Levin reiterated the “silent coup” phraseology back on September 7, 2018, suggesting, as reported by CNSNews.com, that “The New York Times anonymous op-ed and other efforts to attack the president and thwart his agenda ‘is a mutiny,’ ‘sabotage,’ ‘a silent coup’ that Levin has been talking about since day one.”

Below is a transcript of Mark Levin’s comments from his show on Tuesday:

“As I was watching TV a little bit over the weekend and listening to the radio in my car, it’s an amazing thing, all of a sudden everybody talking about a silent coup, isn’t it Mr. Producer? Silent coup. Silent coup. A coup d'etat. A coup.

“You know what’s very upsetting, folks? Two years ago, almost two years ago to the day – couple of weeks short – when I went on this radio program and then two days later went on ‘Fox & Friends’ on the weekend, and then two days after that went on Hannity on Fox, and laid out the case for what I called a ‘silent coup,’ that is a non-shooting coup.

“I came under brutal attack, and you know what else is amazing, very few of my friends in conservative talk radio defended me. I can count on one hand, and shame on them, because now they’re all running around talking about a coup and a silent coup as if they invented these terms. I didn’t invent them, but I applied them to what I saw taking place. And it wasn’t to be provocative. As a former chief of staff to an attorney general of the United States, who had meetings with the attorney general, the deputy attorney general, the head of the FBI, the head of the DEA and so forth and so on, when the attorney general called meetings on a regular basis, I knew that leaks were coming out of the top levels of the FBI.

“How did I know that? Am I Nostradomis? No. Am I in the prediction business? No! But it’s at the top levels of the FBI where this information would be crossing paths, nowhere else. It’s not in the bureau of prisons. It’s not in the anti-trust division. It’s not in the civil division. It’s at the FBI.

“And you folks may remember this, those of you who are loyal Levinites, when I went on the radio and when I went on TV and I laid it out, one exhibit after another using the leaks to the media by the FBI – among others. That there had been at least one FISA application, probably more; that there’d been eavesdropping, espionage activity on the president of the United States or his campaign. Obviously I didn’t have all of the particulars that we have now, but I could start to put together the general picture of what was taking place. And there was a pattern in the leaks over a period of three or four months.

“And Mr. Producer will tell you, I do my own research. I sat at my desk. I started to see this. I started to dig. I put one next to the other, next to the other. I said, ‘What the hell is going on here? We’ve got a rogue operation.’ And it was a rogue operation.

“And what Mr. Comey and what Mr. McCabe and the others were doing, was undermining the United States of America from within the government, from within the FBI, from within the Department of Justice. Nothing like this has ever happened before in the United States of America – ever, ever.

“We have never had an FBI trying to take out a duly elected president of the United States – never!”
