I was thinking about the whole Ann Coulter thing, and it appears I came to the same conclusion as other anons. Coulter, as well as others are sell swords, sell pens, journalistic mercenaries. The bigger their, "base," i.e. the more followers they have, the more money they can make for their influence peddling.

To me, this also ties in with things like, "be careful who you follow," and things like using, "stars," for influence peddling, and I think in some ways social media because it seems to me that social media is all about, "followers." I also think that things like social media are used to condition people to be more susceptible to the influence peddling because it creates the mental framework to make people feel the NEED to be popular as a form of validation.
