All I got in search returns is

More research is gonna be needed, my opinion

is that we'll end up finding out that it leaks chemicals in to the air ) if new) and from skin contact.

If you can't move yet, have a discussion with your wife about buying large area rugs. That way you can at least have most of the air covered for your lil one.

Believe it or not, but the healthiest rug

you have in your home is the older rug

from your sister. It had time to leak out

all the chemicals they use. I would suggest

shampooing the cheaper rugs to break down and wash away the chemicals they are holding, all you have to do is put down towels under the area of the rug you will shampoo. Move it along as you go.
