Parent of 2 - both had shots. The MMR shot resulted in a week hospital stay for 1 about 5 years ago but she's completely fine now. The other had no impact what so ever.
I feel better about the vaccines themselves because they have had some vetting as far as millions of children that have had them without issue. If the government requires them, it's more likely that someone has eyes on true harmful effects.
I do NOT feel that way however about free flu shot. And the incentives retailers give out to get you to get it from them. There is a reason it's free and and it's NOT to keep the public healthy and not paying to visit the doctor/prescription drugs.
