Democrat PA Mayor charged with 47 pay to play felonies, each charge 20 years

mcall.com Reports: A ​jury found Allentown Mayor Ed Pawlowski guilty Thursday on nearly all charges in his federal pay-to-play trial, meaning he will have to relinquish office after he is sentenced — a crushing end to a 12-year career at the helm of a long-distressed city in the midst of revival. Pawlowski, re-elected to a fourth term in November despite the shadow of indictment hanging over him, was found guilty of 47 charges and not guilty of seven charges in a trial focusing on allegations that he traded contributions to his campaigns for favorable treatment that helped donors get work from the city.

He was found guilty of multiple counts of conspiracy, bribery, attempted extortion, false statements to federal officials, mail fraud and wire fraud. Each count carries a penalty of up to 20 years in prison. Pawlowski was remains free on bond. No sentencing date has been set. Pawlowski’s co-defendant, Allentown lawyer Scott Allinson, also was convicted on two counts of conspiracy and bribery.

If one Democrat is getting charged with these crimes up to 47 times, then what Hillary and Democrats in Washington should be charged with is likely ten fold.
