The cabal owns Hollywood. Can anybody name a single film that painted the CIA in negative light?
That's about the only one except it was largely bullshit from start to finish and painted the CIA as having really no knowledge of what Barry Seal was doing. The CIA itself was running drugs all over back then and this movie tries to make it look like it was one rogue agent they recruited for a specific task. In reality, Seal was likely an agent from the get-go.
And of course the style of the film is light-hearted…kinda like "Blow" w/ Johnny Depp if you remember.
