Tonight, a Fox News Special, Sara Carter does an in-depth interview With Secretary of Housing and Urban Development Ben Carson:

Sarah interviews Ben, who is working this weekend volunteering his time to help a neighborhood group rebuild a family’s home on Detroit’s West Side that was recently destroyed by a fire. The interview takes place while Ben finishes up connecting a complicated array of wires in the home’s new circuit breaker box.
Sarah has Ben describe what it was like growing up in Detroit. He shares his family’s history, some major turning points in his life, what inspired him when he was a young man. He stops working in the wires and pauses thoughtfully before relating how important his mother was as an influence in his life….
[Cut to Ben’s Office at HUD in Washington DC]
The setting is very formal, but Ben keeps the conversation light. Sarah asks about his priorities at HUD. Ben explains how its important work is really aimed at helping families reach self-sufficiency. At the end of the conversation, Ben turns the table and starts interviewing Sarah.

I understand you an you’re family has an interesting history. . .
Sarah balks at first, but Ben prods her to continue. She talks a little bit about how her mother immigrated to the US from Cuba in the 1960’s during the Johnson Freedom flights. Sarah talks lovingly about her daughter, and also her husband, Marty Baily, a retired Master Sergeant who was blinded from a bombing during the war in Afghanistan in 2011…

Sara and her husband Marty join Ben and his wife Candy at the neighborhood grill. They all drink tap beer and laugh over a contest designed to see who can make the best jabs about ObamaCare. During dinner they talk about different exotic places they have visited all over in the world.
Over apple pie ala mode, Marty jokes about how Sarah and Ben should run together for president and vice-president in 2024. He feigns discomfort over who would be better to put on the top of the ticket. . .

Ben Carson was Director of Pediatric Neurosurgery at Johns Hopkins Hospital in Maryland from 1984 until 2013. As a pioneer in neurosurgery, Carson's achievements include performing the only successful separation of conjoined twins joined at the back of the head; developing new methods to treat brain-stem tumors; and surgical techniques for controlling seizures. He became the youngest chief of pediatric neurosurgery in the country and was at the institution for over 30 years.

"If it's not a human being, then why are you harvesting organs from it?" Carson asked.
"It's sort of an evil hatred that is permeating us, because we're giving away our humanity," Carson said.
“People don’t actually use their brains about these things.”
