When a person intentionally or unintentionally attacks someone's elses belief system they invoke a flight/ fight experience in that individual. Our disposition is to either defend ourselves from the attack (lion pounce - anything/everything necessary to survive [physical assult]) or run away (become emotionally unattached) to preserve that which we think has kept us safe/secure/alive this whole time.
When a person comes across an inanimated object, their defenses are down because the perception is that it cant do any physical harm. This allows the mind to interpret the image without any protective securities in place. Trojan horse 😉

We have 5 senses but mainly rely on 2 and 1 predominantly (our visual cortex) - which is a Horrible indicator of what's happening around us but gets the job done.
