Hiding in the background in the movie 'Back to the Future' is inside information.

We know how they like to do this in all movies. Well, in this particular scene, the director is showing you exactly who created a time machine.

Rickard "Dick" Foster created a time machine way back, and the director tells you with the sign that Marty repeatedly looks at.
