I agree. Pulling this off without Civil War II shows an amazing degree of strategic genius, moral virtue, and logistical capability. I realize it's slower than many of us want, but it's also grander than many of us dreamed possible. And I suspect that historians will be better positioned to see the key strategic landmarks that made the pacing necessary. Future proves past.
I wonder what the NPCs will think when they wake up, and realize that POTUS and Q not only saved them from armageddon, but carefully defused the social powder keg that the cabal had set in place. Many would have tried a frontal assault at whatever cost. This is so much better.
There is a saying that generals often fight the previous war, not paying adequate attention to actual circumstances. On this occasion, this is not the case. Everything being done is new and novel (or so it seems to us, without the military background to perhaps see origins and small historical prequels that inform how the plan was inspired and developed.) We are thankful.
