Trump will do/say things to make people focus their attention where he wants. It doesn't matter the blowback, because Trump can take it.
For instance, Trump may have hired Alex Acosta knowing his past experience in the controversial Epstein case. Thus, when the case was looked into, it would be amplified because someone involved in prosecuting that case now works for the Trump administration!
Trump doesn't care how it makes his administration look. The goal is to get people talking about the Epstein case, thus a large segment of anti-Trumpers are now talking about the case. But they aren't careful what they are wishing for…..as the Epstein case will take down the people they least expected.
