The apostle Paul was a total asshole but God chose him. He grabbed Paul by the scruff of his neck, picked him up and shoved his face in heaven for a second. God can chose whomever he pleases. He can change a heart in the blink of an eye. Knowing this gives me hope, it gives me faith that even the lowest of the low can rise up and make a change.
