As the president of the University of Central Florida resigned this week in connection with misuse of state money for campus buildings, the University of Florida confirmed it has launched an internal investigation into the possible misuse of millions in public money.

UPDATED: Plane crash kills one near Goshen (Indiana)
GOSHEN — One person is presumed dead after an aircraft snapped high-tension power lines and crashed into a farm field between Goshen and Millersburg Thursday night.
Federal aviation agents are expected to begin investigating the incident Friday morning.

After 52 years, remains of Vietnam War journalist from Montebello are finally coming home
Raul Antonio Guerra, a U.S. Navy journalist from Montebello, who died 52 years ago in a plane crash over Vietnam, is finally coming home.
The U.S. Department of Defense POW/MIA Accounting Agency has made a positive identification of the remains that have been in Hawaii for 12 years and will be returned to Guerra’s childhood friend, Ruben Valencia of Pico Rivera, U.S. Rep Linda Sánchez announced in a news release Thursday.
