Another Charlottesville vid – recut of existing and already known open source vid.
"Stick Girl (SG) stood in the intersection of 4th and Water streets. Her camera aimed north into 4th Street. This version of the video is zoomed in toward the intersection of 4th and the pedestrian mall (Main Street). The pedestrian mall is visible at the top of the video frame. Also note the position of a vehicle up there. This probably is the Dodge. It may be rolling backward (note the gradual appearance of the bollard on the east side of the street near the sidewalk), however that impression may be produced by the movement of SG's camera. Objects seemed to cross west to east behind the Dodge; this may be vehicles crossing through the intersection of 4th and Market streets. Also note the slight indication of movement of someone or something on the east sidewalk up by the Dodge - near the newsboxes; also possible movement on the west side of street near the bike parking area. The positions of the various vehicles at the soon-to-be crash scene are clearly visible. Also note the individual in dark shirt who walked downhill during this brief clilp; he did so while the crowd prepared to move uphill and enter into the sidewalks and onto the street between the stopped vehicles. Also note the bearded man, long curly hair, in shorts who stepped ahead of the crowd to wave them forward, but he did not proceed uphill, in this clip, and instead made a move toward his left and stalled his own advance into 4th Street. At end of clip, in a screenshot, the driver of the mini van can be seen recording the crowd and the street scene; she is in black top, long hair, positioned in front of the van."
