They had to, otherwise they had no story line apart from taking out major financial players that opposed the setting up of the Federal Reserve. It would have been a murder story without Rose and jack to distract from the famous names (Astor, Guggenheim, etc.) present on the Titanic.

The Rothschilds replaced the Astor family, or so I thought. The Rothchilds own the central banks and hence heavily influence the Fed (to put it mildly). The Fed gets charged interest from the central banks every time they print money.
I stand to be corrected by HistoryFags or FinancialFags on what I have said above.

Aluminium Sulphate (Sulfate to the US) is used as a flocculant/ coagulant in waste water treatment. it was also involved in an accidental poisoning incident at Camelford in England.
