It's better to have NOBODY in the position rather than a traitor or swamp creature.

We've gotten on just fine without all those damn positions filled till now.

We'll get along just fine without them.

Or - develop your own "farm team"

This nation will run just fine without big bloated government breathing down our necks.

Abolish the IRS and take all those people and put them into other jobs. Free up plenty of folks right there.
