This causes further division.. Police v. Armed Civilians. Maryland already had an incident which resulted in the death of a civilian gun owner. Both "sides" will have casualties sadly. I don't agree with the law at all and think it needs to be challenged.
No idea. Would think the 2nd Amendment would be a top priority.

2nd Amendment is about Power and Control.
D's have long known this and have adopted a state by state approach, coupled with "death by a thousands cuts".
Seems like the 2nd is always under attack. One area that gives me hope is the Supreme Court. Perhaps that is the fail safe? They can waste their time and push bills, but with the Supreme Court aligned to the right, gun control will be struck down? Seems like a risky play to me.
Simply put, D's would love nothing more than to have a disarmed population. That's for damn sure. Control.
