The United States of America is built on a strong, yet simple, founding principle: that all men, created equal, are granted unalienable rights from God, that among them are life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. It is this simple principal that drives all patriots.

 

As a member of congress you have a sworn duty to represent your constituents. We grant you your powers in order to protect our interests. However, I do not believe you are protecting our interests.

What you are seeing is a coordinated, targeted attack on people for challenging an issue facing our government - Voter Fraud. While voter fraud is a very serious issue and needs to be addressed through Voter ID laws, this attack illustrates the tyranny we escaped from to found this country. This attack is an exertion of power by those with, onto those without.

 

It is the right and the duty of all patriots to stand up in the face of a destructive government in order to abolish or alter it. Now is the time we express that right.

 

I ask that you join all the patriots who are fighting to protect our rights. I ask that you hold accountable those who would attack their own citizens. I ask that you stand up with us, or step down behind us.

 

This is our country.

Sir, we have done everything that could be done,

to avert the storm which is now coming on

We have petitioned; we have remonstrated; we have supplicated; we have prostrated ourselves before the throne, and have implored its interposition to arrest the tyrannical hands of the ministry and Parliament. Our petitions have been slighted; our remonstrances have produced additional violence and insult; our supplications have been disregarded; and we have been spurned, with contempt, from the foot of the throne. In vain, after these things, may we indulge the fond hope of peace and reconciliation. There is no longer any room for hope. If we wish to be free if we mean to preserve inviolate those inestimable privileges for which we have been so long contending if we mean not basely to abandon the noble struggle in which we have been so long engaged, and which we have pledged ourselves never to abandon until the glorious object of our contest shall be obtained, we must fight!

 

I repeat it, sir, we must fight! An appeal to arms and to the God of Hosts is all that is left us!
