Quanell X For Trump

9/3/16

Quanell X, a known New Black Panther activist from Houston, Texas, spoke with local Houston television station Fox 26 about Donald Trump’s recent speech from Milwaukee, Wisconsin. During his sit down, he urged black people to reevaluate their loyalty to the Democratic Party.

“We, as black people, have to reexamine the relationship. We’re being pimped like prostitutes and they’re the big pimps pimping us politically, promising us everything and we get nothing in return. We gotta step back now as black people and we gotta look at all the parties and vote our best interests,”

He admits that Trump isn’t the most liked individual but points out that his messages have merit.

“Donald Trump decided to go to Milwaukee and speak about the conditions in American and why he thought black people should vote for him. He even went on to lay out reasons why we should. Let me say this to the brothers and sisters who listened and watched that speech. We may not like the vessel that said what he said, but I ask us to truly examine what he said.”

According to X, the Democratic Party has abused its power and pimped the black community for votes and support.

“Because it is a fact that for 54 years we have been voting for the Democratic Party like no other race in America. And they have not given us the same loyalty and love that we have given them. We, as black people, have to reexamine the relationship. We’re being pimped like prostitutes and they’re the big pimps pimping us politically, promising us everything and we get nothing in return. We gotta step back now as black people and we gotta look at all the parties and vote our best interests.”

“I want to say and encourage the brothers and sisters, Barack Obama, our president, served two terms. [He was] the first black president ever, but did our condition get better? Did financially, politically, academically with education in our community — did things get better? … The condition got worse.”

“No politician can save the black community,” X reminded viewers. “We gotta do it ourselves.”

A former drug dealer and erstwhile minister, he found himself the subject of controversy in 2016 when a group of his detractors held a press conference to accuse him of bilking them on agreements.

"We welcome any member of the human family to reach out to us for help but when you do, please tell us the truth and don't leave out any important facts," Quanell said in a statement at the time.

"Often, people come to us claiming racism and when we research and investigate the case, we learn that racism has nothing to do with the case. Just because you have retained my office to help you does not mean we will lie for you."
