Many years ago, pretty much when the net was being invented/main infrastructure built, I worked for/with this guy https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fred_Baker_(IETF_chair)
on a major project. Only very religious (Christian) contractors from our church, and Military electricians were hired… because those are the only type of people he wanted to be involved with his project, or the only ones he wanted to let know (as in see it with our own eyes, know the location, access gatecodes/passwords etc…) about the project. I believe the net is safe… people who really built and run that shit are goodguys guaranteed.
