Not sure if anyone else posted about this?

Was reading the MKULTRA pdf that Q linked to on Feb 15th. Noticed that it kept referring to a "magician" being useful for covert actions, such as administering experimental drugs to unwitting persons in the public. So I did a quick search for CIA and magician. Found a declassified manual on misdirection, concealment, and stagecraft. All copies of the manual were believed to have been destroyed in 1973 (along with the bulk of MKULTRA documents destroyed: referenced in the MKULTRA pdf linked by Q in Feb).

From this short description of the trickery manual (linked https:// www.wired.com/2009/11/cias-lost-magic-manual-resurfaces/ ):

"At the height of the Cold War, the Central Intelligence Agency paid $3,000 to renowned magician John Mulholland to write a manual on misdirection, concealment, and stagecraft…….Mulholland's contributions were far different, because they were part of a larger CIA effort, called MK-ULTRA, to control people's minds. Which lead to the Agency's infatuation with LSD…."

Not sure if it will add to any deep dig or not, but here it is for curious eyes. Also has some nifty illustrations within. This post is also located in the MKULTRA Deep Dive thread:

To back you up…..

from pg 22 of the trickery manual:

"Senate scrutiny

of the files revealed that drug experiments with provocative names such as Operation

Midnight Climax had been run from CIA safe houses in California and New York. These

experiments observed the effects of LSD on unwitting individuals or “clients” who were

lured to the safe houses by prostitutes. Their reactions to drugs were surreptitiously

monitored from behind one-way mirrors to judge the effectiveness of LSD, “truth

serums,” and other mind-control substances."
