I had a friend that was deep in the Mortgage scandal that caused the crash. He was making decent money ($1 mil plus per year) and he liked nothing more than to patronize cheap massage parlors and screw hookers in Tijuana. Had something to do with the greatest disparity in "class" making him feel like an even bigger bigshot.
People that gain wealth not through innovation or other honest mean, but through theft/deception , etc know they are frauds. Their shame drives them into degeneracy that we can't even fathom.
