Could be some more comms on the Feb 23 1600Z file. I think Atlas had already made contact with approach before 1630

As the map shows there was definitely weather. Controllers were warning pilots and vectoring around the storm. Early on in the audio ATC says light to moderate precip. Later on moderate to heavy. Last contact I heard from 91 was at 06:19 mins into the file when ATC and the pilot are trying to determine how to get around the storm. The last transmission was a bit jumbled. There are a couple of comms I couldn't make out so there could be another comm from 91.

00:43 atc: ~~niner 1 they might be updating that as well you can fly the runway 26 left transition

00:47 91: ~~~~

04:03 591 heavy: theres a bit light now showing heavy light to heavy precip west of it looks like van and it is moving eastbound once you get in closer if we need to go vectors around it we will accomodate that

04:20 91: 91

06:19 91: flight 91 we'll go on the west side

06:22 atc: the only problem we have with right now theres a bunch of departures departing right at ya (crosstalk at 06:28)

06:29 91: ok we'll go on the east side…. (transmission garbled a bit)

09:05 Atc: chatter about weather. first guy going around it…

10:06 atc: 40(??) are you pickig up any ELTs right now? (no response heard)

10:10 atc: ok

11:04 atc: ..if you pick up an ELT at all ahead if you would(?)

11:10 ???: ???

12:10 atc: …primary target only type and altitude unknown ←–

12:23 atc (sameController): turn off of gill he'll be 1 oclock and about 6 miles NE bound it's intermittent again type and altitude is unkown ←-

14:38 atc: moderate to heavy precip wil lhave vectors aronud…

17:10 atc: 591 heavy houston?

17:24 atc: 3591 heavy houston approach how do you hear?

18:55 atc: 1797 do you have any kind of ground contact off your right or behind and to the right at all?

25:46 3685: ….negative contact on that plane ←-

25:54 ???: do i wanna go to Ellington ←–??

26:50 atc: 1690 ….

27:09 atc: 1690 see if you can make ground contact we are looking for a lost aircraft about your 11 oclock and 2 miles heavy boeing 767

27:20 1690: no ground contact from here

27:56 atc: 514 houston approach (vectors)

28:03 514 confirms

28:07 atc: 514 see if you can make ground contact looing for a heavy boeing 767 about your 11 oclock ~

here's what stood out to me:

10:06 ATC asks if picking up any ELTs emergency location transmitters

12:10 Cant tell who the controller is looking for here. "Primary target only, type and altitude unknown." Could be looking for Atlas but they know the type? unless she's not talking about type of aircraft?

17:10 Controllers start calling 91 heavy no response

25:46 3685 reports no ground contact and another pilot jumps in asking if he should go to Ellington. Isn't that a military base? not sure who this pilot was and it seemed odd.

Towards the end of the file, atc asks some pilots to look for ground contact.
