The Sanctuary Counties’s Sheriff’s Departments (SCSD) have all agreed not to enforce the provisions of House Bill 8 if signed into law.

The Bill calls for background checks on EVERY gun sale - which means even sales between private citizens. The SCSD say this infringes upon Second Ammendment rights – and that even if it didn’t, it would be quite impossible to enforce.

It’s kinda brilliant – they’re co-opting the “Sanctuary Cities” thing that Dems are doing to protest immigration laws. The Dems don’t believe in those immigration laws and refuse to enforce, right? So then why can’t we do the same shit for 2nd Ammendment laws? HB8 is trash, we won’t/can’t enforce it. Sanctuary County, BITCH.
