More digging on the infamous Council on Foreign Relations:

Based on a group known as 'The Inquiry', a group of 150 intellectuals pulled together to advise Woodrow Wilson on the postwar period after WWI.

The brainchild of the CFR was Woodrow Wilson's closest advisor, the engimatic 'Colonel' Edward M. House. It's primary early purpose was how change America's predominantly isolationist mindset.

As le wik says so eloquently:

"The scholars from the inquiry saw an opportunity here to create an organization that brought diplomats, high-level government officials and academics together with lawyers, bankers, and industrialists to engineer government policy."

So a gigantice lobbying club that would set economic policy beneficial to the largest corporations, and the rich familes that controlled them.

Also: "In 1922 Edwin F. Gay, former dean of the Harvard Business School"…" spearheaded the Council's efforts to begin publication of a magazine that would be the "authoritative" source on foreign policy. He gathered $125,000 from the wealthy members on the council, and via sending letters soliciting funds to "the thousand richest Americans".

Ask, did these weathiest Americans donate to the formation of the magazine 'Foregin Affairs' because they thought it was good for the little people like us? or for the benefit of their giant corporations, trusts, and foundations?

And: "In the late 1930s, the Ford Foundation and Rockefeller Foundation began contributing large amounts of money to the Council."…again, why? Cui Bono?

It's all right there in front of us…is is a conspiracy if all their actions are right in front of us? Why does the media cover all of this up? Owned by the same families?

Continuing: "throughout the country, funded by a grant from the Carnegie Corporation. Influential men were to be chosen in a number of cities, and would then be brought together for discussions in their own communities as well as participating in an annual conference in New York. These local committees served to influence local leaders and shape public opinion to build support for the Council's policies…"

And as WWII approached: "Beginning in 1939 and lasting for five years, the Council achieved much greater prominence within the government and the State Department, when it established the strictly confidential War and Peace Studies, funded entirely by the Rockefeller Foundation."

"The secrecy surrounding this group was such, that the Council members who were not involved in its deliberations were completely unaware of the study group's existence."

" It was divided into four functional topic groups: economic and financial, security and armaments, territorial, and political. The security and armaments group was headed by Allen Welsh Dulles who later became a pivotal figure in the CIA's predecessor, the Office of Strategic Services."

Allen Dulles office with the OSS was in Rockefeller Center. Even easier for the 'king of the spooks' to be able to confer with the bosses, to be in the same building with them…

What is the highly secretive 'War and Peace Studies Group'?

For starters…it was a project carried out by the CFR…it was entirely funded by the Rockefeller Foundation…it practically ran the US state department during WWII: "From March 1942, the project supplied research secretaries to the State Department's Advisory Committee on Postwar Foreign Policy, with each group's secretary serving the corresponding subcommittee at the State Department. Meetings were scheduled to allow secretaries to carry out Council work during the first half of each week with the remainder of the week spent at the Department of State."

Dig these powerful men, and their connections to big business, the ruling families, and the military and intelligence apparatus of the US:

"Alvin Hansen and Jacob Viner led the economic and financial group"

"Whitney Shepardson, who led the political group"

"Allen Welsh Dulles and Hanson W. Baldwin, who led the armaments group, and"

"Isaiah Bowman, who led the territorial group."

again, our friend Allen Dulles appears in a powerful role, supporting his sponsors the Rockefellers…Allen Dulles would lead the CIA after WWII and would play a powerful part in the Warren Commission covering up the JFK assasination.

Rabbit holes galore, for any historyfags out there…
