Actually, I'm often aware of intuition but it's a different kind of awareness. You're right about the "how" part. You can have a very strong sense where you "just know'; unlike logic, it's very hard to explain to other, though (unless they also have a similar intuition).
Working on this board can be very intuitive because there are those who just click in the way they work, which–since we're anonymous–is particularly helpful. You run into the right people at the right moment……
