Because somebody paid for it to happen.
When a "revolutionary" like Mao decides to become a "communist",
it's in return for weapons, soldiers, etc. How do you pay for this? A loan.
Who is in the business of loaning out money?
Banks finance wars from the beginning of currency, with the express
purpose of controlling a country's currency. How do you pay the loan back?
a) Crash the currency.
b) Buy up the currency.
c) Revive currency.
d) Sell currency back.
This is the one biggest racket that ever existed, and economics
has a main goal of explaining inflation as "natural", when really it
is simply pressing the print currency button.
