Ken Adachi found unresponsive with a woman not his wife, who gave him a pill. Police find cannibas gummies, two syringes, empty booze bottles, mussed bed at apartment that was leant to Adachi for two days.
Nine days earlier, Adachi had persuaded the SF Sheriff to investigate inmates being beaten by SF Sheriffs.
Embarassing photos were published locally. Now articles are scrubbing what the police photographed at the crime scene.
Caterina, the woman who called 911 had asked that only an ambulance and not the police come to the apartment.
Hello?
Rather like what just happened to Los angeles reporter Burrous.
Comments in San Francisco article:
Interesting that the original article about his death no longer appears in the search results. It got hundreds of comments and was #1 in the "Most Popular" sidebar, but now it's disappeared. Now the only post-death articles I can find have just a few comments. Was the comment thread not going the way SFGate preferred…?
They don't seem to allow link in comments, but you can get to it by adding this to the site name:

So the department whose pension/retirement/future he was trying to gut is going to investigate his death to make sure there was no foul play?
"The police photos show the apartment interior, an unmade bed, empty bottles of alcohol, cannabis gummies, and two syringes that may have been left by paramedics."
Are the paramedics really that messy to leave the syringes there?? Maybe it was a drug overdose?
