Obummer absolutely detests even the thought of Shillery. There is no way that he would pardon her for anything, plus the fact that he blames her directly for messing up all of the plans.

It has never been attempted, but the justice department has opinioned before that a President can not pardon himself of an impeachable offense. Nixon explored that possibility but it was quickly shot down. Obummer being as narcissistic as he is, would not pardon anyone else if he himself had to face prosecution. If any of the individuals involved had pocket pardons, they would have already produced them to stop the investigation of them dead in their tracks. I think the field has been set and we will simply have to wait until the start of the game.

The republicans are going to face a massive slaughter if the do not do something to fix the electorial system.

The thing is that we do not have two parties for all practical purposes, we have a uniparty. The same group controls who will be elected to what position and the actual votes do not mean anything. The fix them the way they desire for the outcome they want.

While we whistle about DACA, gun control, and produce made for television investigations and hearings, we drift closer to an inevitable outcome in the mid terms. The fix will take legislation and time for the court cases it is certain to spawn, but we simply wait for memos and investigations that will be released at the appointed times.

Besides that, we are winning Yuge! Just sit back and enjoy the show.

Sort of. I believe they could state in the pardon that so and so is pardoned for all crimes committed prior to such and such a date. Like 01/20/2017. I believe that is allowable from what I have been able to gather.

It does not matter unless the completely fix the system. The MAGA candidates wil not winn and the only people who will win are those that "they" have leverage on and control.

Trump and Q had better address this before the mid terms or it will likely lead to a larger mess at a minimum to clean up and a likely impeachment if not addressed. The bad part about it is that the primaries are currently suffering and the MAGA candidates are being thinned before the elections.

Not a legalfag but if someone robs a bank, and it takes them 2 years to catch, I think that the crime is still committed at the time of the robbery. There is a difference between a crime and a conviction.

If they go to strictly paper ballots and require voter ID, the dems can not win. The Democratic party big money supporters have swung so far left, they have alienated a tremendous number of their party who sort of align as independent at the moment. They are pushing socialism, gun control, and a host of other measures and if they do not push the party platform far enough to the left to appease the big money donors, then the cash is cut off. Look at the current fiscal situation the DNC is in. They lost the Bernie voters in the last election and the only way to get them back is to push his agenda which alienates the moderate democrats.

Time will tell but there is a host of issues that must be addressed and the time is getting short.

Okay, please explain this historical event.

>When Nixon resigned over the Watergate >scandal in 1974, he still faced potential >prosecution for obstruction of justice and other >charges. But a month after taking office, >President Gerald Ford addressed the nation >and offered his predecessor "a full, free, and >absolute pardon" for crimes he "committed or >may have committed."

It is exactly the same situation. Ford pardoned Nixon for crimes that might have been committed by Nixon, hence he had not been charged with. How is that not exactly what we are discussing?

If the building extends above the twelfth floor, they have a thirteenth floor, they just do not label it as such. I have never seen a building with an air gap between the twelfth and fourteenth floors before.
