The allure of AI is about total avoidance of liabilities. At this time Corporations are not enough for ([{them}]) and AI looks like the perfect solution by transfering liability to the machines. The machine fails the machine gets the blame and no one has to pay for the damages or deaths. But this all is a grand dellusion that comes from ignorance of what AI really is. By actual definition AI are just mimics and nothing more. The very impressive feats of AI that we see today like the NVIDIA fake realistic faces are just repetitive tasks made possible by high power computing. So, just the same things computers have been doing since World War II, repetitive tasks very fast. Even the overestimated Turing machine is just a mimic by his own definition, The thing that most people ignore is that when operating with real world tasks when they fail they do so catastrophically.
