The reason behind the tariffs is to cause other countries to eliminate their their import duties and create a level playing field. Countries with import tariffs do so to give their industries an unfair advantage. POTUS believes US is capable of competing internationally, eg. steel, etc. Let the best company win.
Dalton HS shooter had been under psychiatric evaluation for several episodes and even had his guns confiscated at one point. School officials claim they had no inkling of this. They believed he was fit to be in the classroom - in spite of never checking into his background.
